Just in Time for Winter - A Giveaway!

We've had great fun hosting our very first giveaway this week.

Ashley is eagerly working away on the winning scarf, using orange and white for Laurah's Tennessee themed scarf!

Congratulations, Laurah!

And thank you all for the many compliments and comments.

We enjoyed reading them all!

Ashley is my middle girl and she loves to crochet.

A lot.

I'm not exaggerating.

Sometimes I have to pry the crochet needle out of her hand at night, after she's fallen asleep. Not really. But it wouldn't surprise me if I did.

Last year she wore this scarf to Santa's Wonderland in College Station, Texas. She's the one in the middle.

As we were browsing the gift shop, the owner asked where she got her scarf. Ashley told her she made it and this week, thirteen of Ashley's scarves are making their way south to sell in the shop.

She made them in Texas colors.

This week we are giving away one of Ashley's twirly scarves, and it could be yours! Plus, you get to pick the colors! Just comment on this post with the two colors you would choose.

School colors?
Favorite sports team?
Want to match your coat?

The choice is yours!

Giveaway ends at noon (Eastern Time) on Friday and the winner will be announced later that afternoon.

These scarves are also available at Ashley's Etsy shop.

If you find your comment is not showing up, please email your comment to ahousecalledhome@gmail.com - sometimes the comments get lost on their way to the blog. You can also leave your comment on Facebook here.

Her scarves are lovely! If I was fortunate enough to win this fabulous give-away, I would be glad to own one of her scarves in any color combination! But if I must choose, I would choose shades of purple -- perhaps a royal purple with a lavender?

I would love a scarf made by Ashley! I really like the colors in the one she is wearing in the photo with her sisters -- light blue and white. I went to the University of North Carolina, and those are UNC's colors!
